Project: Zirconium Oxide Corrosion Layers and their Grain Boundary Networks
Aaron completed his undergarduate degree in Chemistry and Master’s degree in Polymer Chemistry at The University of Warwick between 2015 and 2019. Currently, he is a member of the first cohort of the Nuclear Energy Futures CDT and is working towards his PhD. The PhD project will use advanced meso-to-nanoscale analytical techniques to characterise the behaviour of different grain boundary networks of Zircaloy-4 (also looking at altered forms of Zircaloy-4). The project will also be using experiemental data to explore the microstructures via different modelling approaches.
